Blind as I Am
Joseph Hardy

I’d like to avoid

the rehash

empty circles

familiar dead-ends

and repeated

truncating addiction

reduction

in alcohol dulling pain from here

back to the same here.

Though here resides

within the divine

disorder

maelstrom

chaos

mishigas

dark matter

more than half

of the universe,

I still hope we stumble

together, touch

the same elephant, pray

to the same light.
